Frances Dennis
Frances continues her painterly exploration of the landscape with an emphasis on mood, light and air. She has sold several paintings and a sculpture or two in the last 12 months and is still really enjoying making sculptures as a complement to the 2D part of her art practice. Frances has been travelling on the back of her BMW through far north Queensland, WA and through 8 states of the USA this last 12 months and the diverse landscape moods have had a direct influence not only on her finished paintings but also in the way she is painting, http://www.francesdennis.com |

Graham Hay It's been a Big Year! Projects included participating in the Dublin Biennial, a WA ceramic survey at Lawrence Wilson Art Gallery (UWA), and creating four sculptural seats for Tranby College. With archaeologist Dr Neil Carlin, from University College Dublin, Graham wrote an Irish national ceramics journal article. He also presented a paper at the Second International Teaching Artist conference, this year in Brisbane. In addition to his popular studio classes, workshops were given with the Fremantle Arts Centre, Perth Studio Potters, and Tamba Pottery Group (Tamworth, NSW). For 2015 Graham has been invited to exhibit in Sculpture by the Sea (Cottesloe Beach), and give workshops in the US midyear. www.grahamhay.com.au |

Carol Rowling
Carol Rowling has had a busy year starting in May with an exhibition at the Beth Hulme Gallery in Fitzroy Nth. Melbourne, then embarking on a 11 week tour starting in Durham England, singing the services for the Cathedral in Durham while their choir had their summer holidays. Then on to the United States, touring the east coast, the west coast and down the middle in a paddle steamer on the Mississippi river. In October Carol exhibited in Madrid Spain at the Ateneo Gallery with Trevisan International Art. Carol is continuing her painting with the intention of getting a body of work together for any upcoming exhibitions. www.carolrowling.com.au |

Sarah Marchant
Sarah’s time in the studio this year has been split between painting and more increasingly teaching. As her painting classes become more popular, Sarah will also be starting a weekday class in the New Year. Sarah has exhibited twice in group shows at Houghton’s Winery this year as well as a Kimberley Charity Exhibition and art awards across the state, with a number of sales and commissions. Her work continues to represent the feminine through the iconic boab tree and elements of spirituality have become more prevalent in her work. 2015 looks to be a productive year (as her youngest starts school), with more time in the studio and the possibility of a solo show in the not too distant future. www.sarahjanemarchant.com |

Janet Pfeiffer
In 2014 Janet exhibited and sold work including the Moondyne Gallery, Swan Valley and the 46th Beverley Easter Art Exhibition. She returned to Beverley as AIR. Janet attended a workshop with Pauline White "Earth Cloth" and a 4-week Mixed Media Mentorship on-line course with Lisa Cyr. Janet has been exploring the properties of cold wax and also Encaustic. She has taught 4 encaustic workshops, in Beverley and at Rob Park Studios. Unfortunately Janet broke her foot after the May Open Studio at Rob Park which bought an abrupt halt to her work in the studio for a couple of months. The studio ran two low profile open days In addition, there has been a steady procession of studio visitors, including local,interstate and international artists, writers, editors, curators and arts administrators, including Jude Ridout (Ireland potter), Cathi Jefferson (Canadian potter), Emma Mahanay Bitmead (Curator), Ann Dunbar (France; painter and textile), Yvette Coyne (City of Vincent Coordinator Arts & Creativity), Dr. Bonnie Kemske (Editor UK Ceramics Review), Cher Shackleton (President CAAWA), Peggy McKenna (Irish Potter)…

Current and recent studio class students are also creatively active, not just within classes. For example: Elena Mamudoski exhibited paintings at Guildford Potters.
Miranda Mitchell continues to exhibit in Broome.
Larissa Gray continues to exhibit in Victoria.
Nicole Andrijevic creating a Winter Wonderland Mandala at Rockingham Shopping Centre, and was an Artist in Residence at St Hilda's Anglican School.
